Speech Language Pathologists

What is a Speech Language Pathologist?

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is often referred to as a "Clinician" or "Therapist." These are all usually referring to a SLP who has received the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). To receive the CCC-SLP, a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required, as well as numerous internships and examinations. Most SLP's also hold a state license in Speech-Language Pathology.

All of the therapists at Talk Time Therapy, Inc. have a NC license in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC-SLP. Our therapists are committed to helping your child succeed and working closely with the family to incorporate speech & language skills into everyday life.
